What is a Duga ceremony?
Duga is a sacred space where healing happens through “the word” — an ancient practice from the Amazon in which prayer, sound, sacred plant medicines, and the spoken word create deep transformation.
In Colombia, this practice is used to:
- Create a meditative state
- Strengthen community bonds
- Open the heart for reflection and inner healing
This ceremony is NOT consciousness-expanding, but a grounding introduction to traditional ceremonial work. The only plant consumed is a sacred tobacco paste (Ambil), traditionally used to create clarity and connection to the heart.
